Early breakfast and head towards Nubra Valley via the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet). Reach Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery, the Maitreya Buddha statue, and the beautiful Hunder Sand Dunes. Option for a short camel ride on the sand dunes. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley (camping or hotel depending on package).
Breakfast at the Nubra camp/hotel. Depart early for Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley (rough roads but beautiful scenery). Reach Pangong Lake, enjoy the breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and the surrounding mountains. Evening at leisure by the lake or visit the site where 3 Idiots movie was filmed. Overnight stay in Pangong Lake.
Breakfast and early morning drive back to Leh. En-route, visit Thiksey Monastery if missed earlier. Reach Leh by afternoon, rest and relax. Evening free for shopping or leisure activities. Overnight stay at Leh.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Leh airport for your onward journey.
